Tips for beating the Cryptolocker or WannaCry ransomware.
Do you have a backup of your data or bare metal recovery requirements? If you do then you need to encrypt it or ship it off to the cloud and retain previous backups. It’s as simple as putting a letter in the mail, actually it’s much simpler because you don’t have to lick a stamp or walk to the mailbox. The Cryptolocker and WannaCry are very nasty ransomware viruses and just flat out extortion.
The Cryptolocker ransomware encrypts your data and data on servers and computers whom of which your computer has access. I personally have seen cryptolocker take out a multinational corporations server data. If only they had encrypted storage or backups that were in the cloud aka offsite.
